It all began in Brazil, in 1978.

(Well, for me, anyway.)

More specifically in December, even more specifically on the 16th. If you still want to know more, it was 6:45 in the morning, and raining pretty heavily.

As much as I love to talk about myself, everything that happened between 1978 and 1998 doesn’t really matter that much (to you, at least), except for the 5-year period between 1987 and 1992, when I traded the sunny hills of Belo Horizonte for the not-so-sunny plains of Baltimore, in the United States.

Anyway, at some point between 1978 and 2007, I decided to study Communications and Graphic Design, I did a few internships and some freelance work in Brazil, I graduated, did some more freelance work, went to Berlin to work as an Au Pair for three lovely children (yes, really), interned at Scholz & Friends Berlin in art direction and cappuccino production for senior management, came back to Brazil and started working as an Art Director at a local Ad agency.

This is, of course, a somewhat slapdash sampling of my work. I'm only human, and an incredibly busy one at that, so it's sometimes hard to find the time to update my portfolio. Of course, that is a ridiculously lame excuse, but it's somewhat common in this line of work, so I'll use it.
